Your hosts: Julianna & MaryA long, meandering driveway through 33 acres of mixed forest with over 1600 feet of private waterfront, brings you to our hide-away nestled amidst the sheltering trees on the shores of peaceful Cade Lake. Enjoy a refreshing swim; wading in from our sandy beach or diving off the dock. Direct access into the Salmon River offers canoeing and kayaking enthusiasts many picturesque miles of exploring nature's magic. Novice paddlers can take the canoe for a quiet glide on the calm lake; hear the haunting call of the loons and rest in the exquisite stillness. With only one other home on the lake, and no access for speedboats or Seadoos, you will experience the utmost in privacy and tranquility.
Several woodland trails guide you to breathtaking scenic vista's, the quiet of the deep forest, high rocks at the lake's edge, and a rushing river rapids..
We feel so blessed to have sweet fresh air, clean lake water, star filled night skies, majestic granite rocks, woodlands and wildflowers; the vivid brilliance of autumn leaves and the pristine beauty of freshly fallen snow. We never take it for granted and hope to have the pleasure of sharing it with you.
Inside our spacious home are huge windows overlooking a gorgeous view of the lake and trees. Natural light, soaring pine cathedral ceilings, hardwood floors throughout; a magnificent floor to-ceiling brick fireplace and natural wood decor, create spaces that are open and light, yet warm and cozy; perfect for lounging or snuggling up with a good book. Savour the silence or enjoy our wide selection of beautiful music. Our library is designed to entice the inquisitive and inspire the soul.
Four light-filled, clean guest bedrooms, artistically decorated and supplied with cozy duvets, beckon a contented, peaceful slumber. The four bedrooms share 2 1/2 bathrooms (no ensuites), providing ample amenities for all. Soothe and pamper yourself in our oversized Jacuzzi tub, with steaming water, scented oils and bath salts, then cuddle up into a cozy bath robe, which we supply Aaahhh... Heavenly.
Beginning the day with Yoga awakens and energizes the body, calms and centers the mind, and develops inner harmony and peace. We welcome those wishing to participate in our morning Yoga class.
According to weather conditions, our yoga classes are held outdoors on the platform by the lake or in our beautiful 700 square foot yoga studio
